Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/10/2016

   Compared to last week:  Steer calves sold steady to 5.00 higher;
yearling steers sold mostly steady with weaker undertones at times
with exception of 1000-1050 lbs instances 6.00 higher for couple loads
off grass in lighter flesh.  Heifer calves 400-500 lbs steady to 5.00 
higher, over 500 lbs steady to firm in narrow comparisons; yearing heifers
were of different weights than last week.  Demand good for calves and yearlings
on an active market.  Flesh condition was mostly moderate, with moderate
plus flesh seen on some calves that were off the cow.  Attractive offering
of calves today, with most off the cow and fully preconditioned.  No
noticible price difference for calves that were weaned.  Feeder cattle
offering was 58 percent steers, 42 percent heifers; 66 percent weighing
over 600 lbs.  Sale next week Thursday Nov 17th expecting 2500 head.
