Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/17/2015
 
Receipts:  3041    Last Week:  6952    Year Ago:  3688
 
   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers 550-750 lbs
steady to 5.00 lower, 750-800 lbs 3.00 to 7.00 lower,
800-900 lbs steady to 4.00 lower, other weights not
enough sales to compare.  Feeder heifers 500-700 lbs
steady to 5.00 lower, other weights not wel compared.
Moderate to good demand for all calves and yearlings, 
with the best demand for fully preconditioned and long
time weaned calves.  Flesh conditon was moderate to
moderate plus with few consignments carrying lighter flesh.
Moisture has degraded pen conditions even further and 
cattle are carrying some extra tag in turn.  Feeder cattle
offering was 67 percent steers, 33 percent heifers; 70 percent
weighing over 600 lbs.  This was the last Feeder Cattle sale
of 2015, next Feeder Cattle sale will be held on Saturday
