Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/12/2015
 
Receipts:  1390    Last Week:  4323    Year Ago:  3862
 
   Compared to last week:  Very light offering of calves and 
yearlings today.  Steer and heifer calves sold with steady to
weak undertones.  Yearling feeder steers 800-950 lbs steady to
1.00 lower in narrow comparisons.  Yearling feeder heifers to
lightly tested to compare.  Demand light to moderate for calves
and yearlings.  Flesh condition was mostly moderate with some
heavier flesh seen. Light buyer attendence today.  At the time
of this writing, CME Feeder Cattle and Live Cattle futures higher.
Approximately half of the early consignments cancelled for today due
to the sharply lower CME Feeder and Live Cattle futures seen Monday
and Tuesday.  Feeder cattle offering was 79 percent steers, 21 percent
heifers; 85 percent weighing over 600 lbs.  Sale next Thursday Nov 19th,
expecting 5,000 head with 2,500 calves.
