Compared to last week:  Feeder steer calves 400-700 lbs mostly 4.00 
to 8.00 higher, with instances to 10.00 higher; yearlings 650-700 lbs
teady, 750-850 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher with instances to 7.00 higher.
eeder heifer calves 350-650 lbs steady to 5.00 higher; yearlings 
700-850 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher.  Very good demand for yearlings, 
good to very good demand for spring born calves with best demand 
for calves that were weaned and had preconditioning shots.  Yearlings
ere in light to moderate flesh condition, calves in mostly moderate 
flesh.  The feeder cattle run consisted of 58 percent steers, 40 
percent heifers, 1 percent Holsteins, balance bulls.  51 percent of 
the feeder supply weighed over 600 lbs.  Expecting 3,000 head of 
feeders next Thursday October 31st.
