   Compared to last week:   Steer calves weighing 400-600 lbs
mostly steady.  Yearling steers 600-750 lbs steady to 3.00 higher,
750-900 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher, 900-950 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 higher.
Heifer calves under 600 lbs steady to 4.00 lower.  Yearling heifers
600-700 lbs mostly steady, 700-800 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, over
800 lbs too lightly tested this week to compare.  Good to very good
demand for all classes of cattle today.  Many long strings of calves
offered today that were weaned over 60 days and had preconditioning
shots.  Several strings of yearlings offered with light to moderate
flesh condition.  Good attendence today by buyers and consigners.
The feeder supply consisted of 52 percent steers, 46 percent heifers, 
with the balance feeder Holsteins.  76 percent of the feeder supply
weighed over 600 lbs.  The next sale will be held Thursday December
20th at 10 am, expecting 2500 head.
