Weighted Average Auction Report of Mount Airy, Siler City and Turnersburg for the Week 
Ending Wednesday Nov 26, 2014

Cattle Receipts:  2276          Last Week:  4663          Last Year:  2062

Compared to last week, there were too few comparable sales to determine a market test. 
Demand and market activity were moderate, with most major buyers not in attendance due to 
it being a holiday week. Offerings were moderate and quality was average. Slaughter cows 
made up 27 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent, replacement cows 1 percent, 
other cows 0 percent, and feeders 68 percent.  The feeder supply included 35 percent 
steers, 40 percent heifers, and 24 percent bulls. Near 14 percent of the run weighed over 
600 lbs.
