Cattle Receipts:  129        Last Week: 425        Last Year: 360

When compared to last week, slaughter cattle and feeder cattle were lower on limited
comparable sales due to light offerings because of rainy and icy conditions. Demand was
good with active buyeractivity. Quality of cattle was average.

Slaughter cows made up 23 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent, 
replacement cows 1 percent, other cows 1 percent, and feeders 73 percent.  The feeder 
supply included 34 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 29 percent bulls. Near 6 
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. ***This report reflects prices of the majority 
of cattle with a USDA grade, weight, and sex on this sale date. This report does not 
represent all animals at the sale on this date.***
