Weighted Average Auction Report of Canton, Mount Airy, North Wilkesboro, Siler 
City, Smithfield, Turnersburg for the Week Ending Thursday June 20, 2013.  
***Norwood prices not available due to absence of the reporter.  Receipts are 
included.***

Cattle Receipts:  4376          Last Week:  3891          Last Year:  4313

Slaughter cows trended mostly steady to 1.50 lower; bulls were 2.00 to 4.00 
lower.  Feeder steers trended 1.00 to 4.00 higher; heifers weighing 400-
500 lbs. were 2.00 to 3.00 lower, 500-600 lbs. trended 1.00 higher.

Slaughter cows made up 14 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent, 
replacement cows 2 percent, other cows 0 percent, and feeders 81 percent.  The 
feeder supply included 33 percent steers, 38 percent heifers, and 30 percent 
bulls.  Near 25 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
