Bison Carcasses: Compared to May Report: Actual slaughter nubmers in federally
inspected plants and total number of reported carcasses this month were higher.
However, weighted average prices for all carcasses remained steady. Canadian
imports decreased by about 25% with less feeder bison being imported.

Bison Meat: Compared to May report: A larger volume of product continued
to be reported on individual cuts and grinds. Fresh and frozen tenderloins,
organ meats, and trimmings weighted average prices trended lower with the
remainder of cuts continuing mostly steady.
