WEEKLY BOXED & DISTRIBUTIVE/LCL VEAL CUTS TRADE
Northeast and North Central Basis - FOB Major Production Points
Compared to last week: Special fed veal cut prices were steady to higher,
with most of the increases occurring in the chuck and leg items. Last week
veal retail features increased 15 percent over the last session. Veal breast,
stew meat and leg cutlets were the most popular items listed as breast was
the most widely seen item at lower prices. Stew meat and leg items were
seen at steady to firm prices.
