MONTHLY BOXED & DISTRIBUTIVE/LCL VEAL CUTS TRADE
Northeast and North Central Basis  -     FOB Major Production Points

For the month of September:  Special fed veal cut prices were steady with
with Foresaddles, Forequarters, Breasts, 6 Rib Chop Ready Racks, Hindshanks,
and Top Rounds steady to higher.  In the Veal complex, Shoulder Blade Chops,
Leg Cutlets, and Stew Meat were the most commonly advertised items as retail
prices were generally steady throughout the month of September.
