Receipts: 645 Last Week: 700 Year Ago: Holiday
Compared to 2 weeks ago Monday at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle
steady in a light test. Trade active with good demand for small lots and singles.
Slaughter cows and bulls 5.00-10.00 higher. Trade very active with very good
demand. Local processors are working 7 days/week and still can?t fill orders for
the end product. Slaughter cows 71 percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders
19 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 31 percent steers and 69
percent heifers. Near 81 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Replacement Cows:
Pre-tested for pregnancy, and age.
