Compared to two weeks ago at the same sale, not enough stocker or feeder cattle
for accurate trends. Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls 1.00-
4.00 higher. Trade very active with very good demand. Slaughter cows made up 63
percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 27 percent of the
supply. The feeder supply included 76 percent steers and 24 percent heifers. Near
83 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 247.00; 600-700 lbs 209.00-
218.00; 900-1000 lbs 193.00. Large 1-2: 1000-1100 lbs 178.50.
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2: 700-800 lbs 176.00-181.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 600-700 lbs 199.00.
