Compared to last Monday at the same sale, not enough stocker or feeder
cattle last week for accurate trends. Trade active with good demand.
Slaughter cows and bulls firm to 6.00 higher. Trade very active with very
good demand. Slaughter cows made up 55 percent of the offering, Slaughter
bulls 10 percent, and feeders 35 percent of the supply. The feeder supply
included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers. Near 91 percent of the run
weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 700-800 lbs 200.00; 800-900 lbs 175.00;
900-1000 lbs 179.00. Medium and Large 2-3: 700-800 lbs 175.00. Large 1-2: 1000-
1100 lbs 158.75.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 205.50; 700-800 lbs 188.00-
190.00.
