Compared to last Monday at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle
steady to 8.00 higher. Trade very active with very good demand. Slaughter
cows and bulls 2.00-5.00 higher. Trade active good demand. Slaughter cows
made up 44 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders
46 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 52 percent steers and
48 percent heifers. Near 53 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs.202.00-221.00; 600-700
lbs 185.75-195.00; 700-800 lbs 163.00-171.50; 800-900 lbs 161.00; 800-900
lbs 139.00, Full; 900-1000 lbs 145.00.
Small and Medium 1-2: 400-500 lbs 193.00; 500-600 lbs 198.00.
