Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending May 26, 2018

   Total estimated receipts this week 12,750 last week 12,408 and 
10,065 last year. Compared to last week: All feeder classes sold 
steady to 3.00 lower. Trade moderate, with moderate demand on feeders. 
Supply this week consisted of 81 percent feeder classes with near 25 
percent over 600 lbs. The feeder supply included 25 percent steers, 
44 percent heifers, and 31 percent bulls.
