Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

 Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending April 14, 2018.
  
  Total estimated receipts this week 11,600 last week 10,123 
and 13,219 last year. Compared to last week: All feeder 
classes, sold steady to 5.00 higher. Trade active, with good 
demand on feeders. Supply this week consisted of 78 percent 
feeder classes with 18 percent over 600 lbs. Feeder supply 
consisted of 23 percent steers, 43 percent heifers, and 34 
percent bulls.

Board Sale: Arab, AL
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 114 head 850-900 lbs (872) 125.50.  
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 65 head 770 lbs 122.00. Cattle sold 
with a 2 percent shrink, 8 cent slide up only, and to be delivered April 
12-14, 2018.
