Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending January 28, 2017.
  
  Total estimated receipts this week 7,100, last week 16,304 and 
6,758 last year. Compared to last week: All feeder classes sold 
mostly steady. Trade active, with good demand on feeders. Supply 
this week consisted of 83 percent feeder classes with 27 percent 
over 600 lbs. Feeder supply consisted of 24 percent steers, 44 
percent heifers, and 32 percent bulls.
