Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending July 02, 2016.
  
  Total estimated receipts this week 9,514, last week 10,975 
and 0 last year. Compared to last week: All feeder classes sold 
steady to 4.00 higher. Trade moderate, with moderate demand on 
feeders. Supply this week consisted of 76 percent feeder classes 
with 21 percent over 600 lbs. Feeder supply consisted of 20 
percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 43 percent bulls.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: 60 head 825 lbs 133.90. Medium and 
Large 2: 68 head 725 lbs 128.50;. Cattle sold with a 2 percent shrink, 8 
cent slide up only, and to be delivered July 11, 2016.            

Board Sale: Frisco City, Al
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 67 head 750 lbs 143.25. Cattle 
sold with a 3 percent shrink, 6 cent slide up only, and to be 
delivered July 01-05, 2016.
