Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending March 15, 2014.

Total estimated receipts this week 12,000, last week 10,287 and 
10,518 last year. Compared to last week: All Feeder classes sold 
2.00 to 5.00 higher. Trade moderate with good demand on feeders. 
Supply this week consisted of 82 percent feeder classes with 21 
percent over 600 lbs. Feeder supply consisted of 26 percent 
steers, 47 percent heifers, and 27 percent bulls.
