Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending October 19, 2013.
Total estimated receipts this week 12,800, last week 15,795 and 
16,048 last year. Compared to last week: No trends available. 
Supply this week consisted of 84 percent feeder classes with 22 
percent over 600 lbs. Feeder supply consisted of 20 percent steers, 
36 percent heifers, and 44 percent bulls.

83 head 600 lbs 167.00 value added. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 
47 head 525 lbs 163.00 part load. Cattle sold with a 2 percent shrink, 4 
cent slide up only, and to be delivered November 19-27, 2013.
