Weekly Combined Weighted Average Feeder Cattle Report

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending August 17, 2013.
Total estimated receipts this week 16,000, last week 14,121 and 
12,860 last year. Compared to last week: All feeder classes sold 
1.00 to 4.00 higher. Trade moderate, with good demand on feeders.
Supply this week consisted of 82 percent feeder classes with 34 
percent over 600 lbs. Feeder supply consisted of 35 percent steers, 
42 percent heifers, and 23 percent bulls.
