Alabama Weekly Livestock Summary

   Alabama livestock auctions for the week ending February 28, 2015.

Total estimated receipts this week 4,320, last week 3,569 and 
9,826 last year. Light cattle receipts due to inclement weather 
conditions. Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 
steady to 3.00 higher. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. 
All feeder classes sold mostly steady. Trade active with good demand 
on feeders.
