Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday January 02, 2017.

Cattle Receipts: 2,112    Last Week: 0      Last Year: 2,347

Compared to a week ago: No trends available due to most markets 
being closed for the holidays. Slaughter cows made up 12 percent 
of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 12
percent, and feeders 75 percent. The feeder supply included 10 
percent steers, 41 percent heifers, and 49 percent bulls. Near 16
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
