Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday December 1, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 1,509    Last Week: 000      Last Year: 1,664

  Compared to one week ago: No trends available due to most markets 
being closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Slaughter cows made up 
5 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and 
pairs 5 percent, and feeders 89 percent. The feeder supply included 
19 percent steers, 36 percent heifers, and 45 percent bulls. Near 
20 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
