Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday October 26, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 2,868   Last Week: 3,208   Last Year: 2,119

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows sold steady, bulls sold 
1.00 to 2.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. 
Trade moderate with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and 
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 6 percent, and 
feeders 84 percent. The feeder supply included 20 percent steers, 41 
percent heifers, and 39 percent bulls. Near 19 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
