Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday June 15, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 2,508   Last Week: 2,421   Last Year: 2,083 

  Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. All
feeder classes sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Trade active with moderate 
demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. 
Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, 
replacement cows and pairs 5 percent, and feeders 88 percent. The 
feeder supply included 15 percent steers, 35 percent heifers, and 50 
percent bulls. Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
