Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday April 13, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 2,138   Last Week: 2,338   Last Year:  1,796

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly
steady. All feeder classes sold 3.00 to 7.00 lower. Trade moderate 
with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold 
mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offerings, 
bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 10 percent, and feeders 
82 percent. The feeder supply included 28 percent steers, 39 percent 
heifers, and 33 percent bulls. Near 23 percent of the run weighed 
over 600 lbs.
