Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday January 05, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 3,075   Last Week: 0       Last Year:  2,637

   Compared to one week ago: No trends available due to markets 
being closed for the holidays. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent 
of the offerings, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 8 
percent, and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply included 23 
percent steers, 36 percent heifers, and 41 percent bulls. Near 13 
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
