Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday December 15, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,577   Last Week: 4,871   Last Year:  2,957

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower, 
bulls sold 4.00 lower. Feeder steers and bulls sold 5.00 to 10.00 
lower. Feeder heifers sold 5.00 to 6.00 lower. Trade moderate with 
moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly 
steady. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 
percent, replacement cows and pairs 13 percent, and feeders 76 percent. 
The feeder supply included 27 percent steers, 45 percent heifers, and 
28 percent bulls. Near 17 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
