Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday July 22, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 1,996    Last Week:  2,153   Last Year:  2,445 

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter classes mostly steady to 
2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 3.00 higher. Trade 
active with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs 
sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 5 percent, 
and feeders 84 percent. The feeder supply included 33 percent 
steers, 36 percent heifers, and 31 percent bulls. Near 27 percent 
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
