Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday July 15, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,167    Last Week:  2,537   Last Year:  3,656 

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter classes steady to 3.00 
lower. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 7.00 lower. Trade moderate
with a moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold 
mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the offerings, 
bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 9 percent, and feeders 
80 percent. The feeder supply included 19 percent steers, 39 
percent heifers, and 42 percent bulls. Near 22 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
