Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday June 25, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 1,776   Last Week:  1,488   Last Year:  2,908 

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 
3.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Trade 
active with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs 
sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 9 percent, 
and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply included 10 percent 
steers, 35 percent heifers, and 55 percent bulls. Near 8 percent 
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
