Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday June 02, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 3,450   Last Week:  2,210   Last Year:  3,955 

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady 
to 3.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 3.00 higher. 
Trade active with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and 
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of 
the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 9 
percent, and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply included 29 
percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 33 percent bulls. Near 
12 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
