Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday May 26, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,192   Last Week:  4,024   Last Year:  3,531 

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 
2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 5.00 lower. Trade 
moderate with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs 
sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the offerings, 
bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 7 percent, and feeders 86 
percent. The feeder supply included 22 percent steers, 41 percent 
heifers, and 37 percent bulls. Near 22 percent of the run weighed over 
600 lbs.
