Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday April 07, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,540   Last Week:  2,740   Last Year:  2,203

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 
lower. All feeder classes sold mostly steady. Trade active with good 
demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. 
Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of the offerings, bulls 2 percent, 
replacement cows and pairs 7 percent, and feeders 81 percent. The 
feeder supply included 27 percent steers, 39 percent heifers, and 34 
percent bulls. Near 16 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
