Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday April 06, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,677   Last Week:  3,090   Last Year:  2,185

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady 
to 3.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 3.00 higher. 
Trade active with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and 
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of 
the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 12 
percent, and feeders 77 percent. The feeder supply included 25 
percent steers, 39 percent heifers, and 36 percent bulls. Near 
17 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
