Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday March 30, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 3,090   Last Week:  2,580   Last Year:  3,226

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly 
steady to 3.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 4.00 
higher. Trade active with good demand on feeders. Replacement 
cows and pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 
percent of the offerings, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and 
pairs 10 percent, and feeders 79 percent. The feeder supply 
included 19 percent steers, 36 percent heifers, and 45 percent 
bulls. Near 14 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
