Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday January 26, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,505   Last Week:  3,809   Last Year:   4,085

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 4.00 to 
7.00 lower. All feeder classes sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Trade 
moderate with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs 
sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 17 percent, 
and feeders 71 percent. The feeder supply included 15 percent steers, 
43 percent heifers, and 42 percent bulls. Near 14 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
