Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday November 20, 2014.

Cattle Receipts: 2,612   Last Week:  2,538   Last Year:  2,287 

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00 to 
5.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Trade 
active with very good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and
pairs sold firm. Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the offerings,
bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 3 percent, and feeders
90 percent. The feeder supply included 32 percent steers, 36 percent
heifers, and 32 percent bulls. Near 23 percent of the run weighed
over 600 lbs.
