Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Tuesday January 07, 2014.

Cattle Receipts: 1,900     Last Week: 0,000     Last Year: 3,869

Compared to a week ago: No trends available due to markets being 
closed for the holidays. Slaughter cows made up 14 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 7 percent, 
and feeders 77 percent. The feeder supply included 23 percent 
steers, 46 percent heifers, and 30 percent bulls. Near 23 percent 
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
