Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday June 29, 2013.

Cattle Receipts: 1,507   Last Week: 1,931   Last Year: 1,815

Compared to a week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 
3.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. 
Replacement cows and pairs sold steady to firm. Trade moderate 
with moderate demand on feeders. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent 
of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 9 
percent, and feeders 80 percent. The feeder supply included 15 
percent steers, 33 percent heifers, and 52 percent bulls. Near 23 
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
