Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday January 07, 2013.

Cattle Receipts: 3,956     Last Week: 0         Last Year: 4270 

   There are no trends due to all markets being closed last week for
the holiday. Trade moderate with moderate to good demand on feeders.
Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2
percent, replacement cows and pairs 8 percent, and feeders 79 percent.
The feeder supply included 18 percent steers, 40 percent heifers, and
37 percent bulls. Near 18 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
