Receipts:  597    Last Week:  915    Year Ago:  463
 
   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 lower.  Feeder 
bulls, mostly fleshy, sold 5.00-10.00 lower.  Feeder heifers sold 2.50-5.00 
lower.  Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls sold steady 
to 3.00 higher.  Fleshy denotes unweaned, milk fat calves.
   Supply included about 424 feeder calves, 67 feeder yearlings, 35 replacement 
cows, 61 slaughter cows and 10 slaughter bulls.  Feeder supply about 40 percent 
English breed and English crosses, 55 percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses, 5 
percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, and 0 percent Holstein and other dairy 
breeds.  Feeder supply consisting of 61 percent steers and bulls with 39 percent 
heifers.
