Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 04/20/2018
 
Receipts:  745        Last Week:  NR       Year Ago:  699

   Compared to two weeks ago:  Feeders sold 5.00-10.00 higher.  Slaughter cows
were mixed.  Breakers and boners sold mostly 5.00 lower.  Lean cows sold mostly
steady. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 lower.  Fleshy denotes unweaned, milk fat
calves. 
   Supply included about 514 feeder calves, 71 feeder yearlings, 71 replacement
cows, 76 slaughter cows and 13 slaughter bulls.  Feeder supply about 40 percent
English breed and English crosses, 55 percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses, 5
percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, and 0 percent Holstein and other dairy
breeds. Feeder supply consisting of 61 percent steers and bulls with 39 percent
heifers.
