Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/17/2017

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and bulls sold mostly steady, with 
instances 3.00-5.00 higher.  Feeder heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher.  
Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. 
 
   Supply included about 568 feeder calves, 44 yearlings, 26 replacement cows, 
46 slaughter cows and 7 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply about 40 percent English 
breed and English crosses, 55 percent Exotic breed and Exotic Crosses, 5 percent 
Brahma and Brahma crosses, 0 percent Holsteins or other dairy breeds.  Feeder 
supply consisting of 55 percent steers and bulls with 45 percent heifers.
