Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly
steady to 10.00 higher. Slaughter ewes and bucks sold mostly steady to
firm on a light test. Demand was good but slumped towards the end of the
sale as buyers filled their orders. Supply consisted of 89 percent
slaughter lambs, 10 percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent slaughter bucks.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Bucks: 120-160 lbs 110.00-140.00; 160-200 lbs hair sheep 87.00-

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, slaughter kids sold mostly
5.00-20.00 lower with a majority of movement in 60-80 lbs kids. Slaughter
nannies sold unevenly steady. Bucks and wethers sold 10.00-20.00 higher.
Supply consisted of 49 percent Slaughter Kids, 29 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 22 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by
the head on estimated weights.
Slaughter Kids: Selection 1 50-60 lbs 170.00-195.00; 60-80 lbs 180.00-
205.00; 80-100 lbs wethers 230.00-250.00. Selection 2 40-50 lbs 100.00-
145.00; 50-60 lbs 130.00-160.00; 60-80 lbs 152.00-180.00, wethers 165.00-
