Slaughter Sheep: When compared to last Monday's sale, High Choice and Prime
2-3 lambs sold steady to 20.00 higher. Choice 2-3 and Good 1-2 lambs sold 10.00
-25.00 lower. Slaughter ewes sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher. In anticipation of the
Ramadan Holiday later this week and despite the sharp increase of supply, demand remained
good. Slaughter supply consisted of 83 percent lambs, 14 percent slaughter ewes,
and 3 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional
markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly 10.00-30.00
higher. Demand was good for kids as we near the end of Ramadan. Nannies traded
mostly steady with good demand. Supply consisted of 54 percent Slaughter Kids, 32
percent Slaughter Nannies, and 14 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are
sold by the head on estimated weights.

wethers 225.00; 60-80 lbs 245.00-255.00, wethers 242.00-265.00; 80-100 lbs wethers
295.00-300.00. Selection 2 40-50 lbs 125.00-137.00; 50-60 lbs 140.00-155.00,
wethers 160.00; 60-80 lbs 170.00-215.00, wethers 210.00-235.00. Selection 3 40-50
