outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week Slaughter lambs Choice and Prime 2-3
and Choice 2-3 sold steady to 17.00 lower. Slaughter lambs Good 1-2 sold firm.
Slaughter ewes sold steady. Demand was good. Supply was good with overall poor
quality. Slaughter supply consisted of 70 percent lambs, 25 percent slaughter
ewes, and 5 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight,
on actual weights.
Slaughter Lambs: Wooled and Shorn Choice and Prime 2-3 40-110 lbs 265.00-280.00.
Wooled and Shorn Choice 2-3 40-110 lbs 235.00-265.00; 40-90 lbs hair sheep 250.00-
266.00; 90-110 lbs hair sheep 240.00-252.00; 110-130 lbs 227.00-235.00; hair sheep
199.00; 130-200 lbs 187.00-210.00. Wooled and Shorn Good 1-2 40-90 lbs hair sheep
222.00-247.00; 70-110 lbs 220.00-240.00; 90-130 lbs hair sheep 195.00-227.00; 110-200

Slaughter Ewes: Good 2-3 110-300 lbs 72.00-92.00, 120-160 lbs hair sheep 82.00-102.00.
Utility 1-3 120-210 lbs 60.00-78.00; 120-160 lbs hair sheep 74.00. Cull 1-2 120-250
lbs 40.00-60.00.
Slaughter Bucks: 120-300 lbs 60.00-87.00, hair sheep 70.00-85.00.
Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly steady
to 10.00 higher. Nannies sold steady to 30.00 higher. Slaughter supply
consisted of 31 percent Slaughter Kids, 30 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 39
percent bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
Slaughter Kids: Selection 1 40-60 lbs 185.00-210.00; 60-80 lbs 215.00-225.00.
Selection 2 40-60 lbs 150.00-185.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 100.00-132.00; 60-80 lbs
