Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold steady. Slaughter
ewes sold steady. Demand was good. Supply was down following the holiday rush.
Slaughter supply consisted of 66 percent lambs, 29 percent slaughterewes, and 5
percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional
markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by
the hundredweight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week Slaughter kids sold 20.00-30.00
higher. Nannies sold 10.00-20.00 higher. Supply was down following the holiday
rush leading to greater demand and higher prices. Slaughter supply consisted
of 28 percent Slaughter Kids, 34 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 38 percent
bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
